Brian Polarek | Board of Directors
Brian Polarek works alongside other organizations and donors with similar goals to Legacy Enhancement to raise funds and initiate supporting activities. Brian has more than 10 years of nonprofit leadership in areas of planning, event management, and board governance.
Brian graduated from the University of Texas at Austin and enjoys following the school’s sports teams and continuing education. He resides in Dallas/Fort Worth with his wife, three children and two pets.
Paul Saleh | Board of Directors
Paul Saleh hails from the Finger Lakes region of upstate New York and attended Cornell University where he received his business degree from the SC Johnson School of Business. He has 20+ years of experience within private wealth, investment management, private equity, and personal injury consulting. Paul currently serves as CFO for a Houston, TX-based Private Family Office and is Senior Vice President of Excelsior Capital Management – a boutique private wealth management firm. From 2015 to 2020, Paul served as the CFO for Archer Systems, the nation's leading mass tort and class action settlement administrator. He has a deep knowledge of structured settlement annuities, trust services, government benefit preservation, lien resolution and Medicare set-asides. Prior to his time at Archer, Paul spent 10 years working for an UHNW Family Office in San Diego, CA where he focused on public equity and private debt investing in addition to private acquisitions of publicly traded companies, real estate development and business operations. He also spent 3 years co-leading the Mergers & Acquisitions group of Allegis Group, an international staffing, recruiting, and HR services business where he led global expansion of this $12 billion revenue business.
Paul currently resides in Maryland with his wife Mandy and four children. He is actively involved in the community serving on the board of directors of numerous local charitable organizations, and enjoys tennis, soccer, and the outdoors in his free time.
Ray Peacoe | Board of Directors
Ray Peacoe is a dedicated board member of Legacy Enhancement and a passionate advocate for multiple non-profit organizations. Ray holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas A&M University. He brings his successful entrepreneurial experience and a keen understanding of business finance and operations to the board.
Driven by a deep personal connection to Legacy Enhancement's mission, Ray and his wife are raising two sons with special needs. His personal experience has shaped his understanding of the unique challenges faced by individuals with special needs and their families. Ray has experience with and a strong grasp of special needs trusts and pooled special needs trusts. He brings invaluable insights and a passionate commitment to improving the lives of individuals with disabilities.
Ray and his wife live in Sugar Land, TX, with their two sons. Their daughter is at Baylor College of Medicine, studying neuroscience and the specific genetic disorder affecting her brothers.
Christian Bruns | President
Christian, a native German, received his education in Hamburg, Germany and started his professional career in International Banking overseas. He moved in 1995 to Mexico City to work as an International VP for one of Mexico's largest Logistics Companies. In 1998 Christian moved to Texas to start expanding the company's footprint in the US.
In 2016 he started Legacy Enhancement since he saw a need for a well-organized PSNT since he had several friends with disabled children that were looking for a better solution then what the market offered at that time. Due to the increase in size of Legacy Enhancement, Christian decided in 2022 to retire from his main job to focus his time on Legacy Enhancement.
He has been married to an Aussie lady for 20 years and has 3 children and resides in Houston.
Andrea Metcalf | Director of Trust Services
Andrea was born in Dearborn, Michigan, and moved to Pennsylvania during her elementary school years when her father decided it was time for a change. She graduated from Clarion University of Pennsylvania (now PennWest Clarion) in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, specializing in Finance and Real Estate.
With over 23 years of experience serving individuals with disabilities, Andrea began her career at an agency that provided group homes for people with developmental disabilities. She had the privilege of writing grants that helped build homes for these individuals, creating safe and supportive living environments. Over the years, she advanced within the agency and spent six years working in their trust department. In 2016, she joined Legacy as a Senior Trust Officer, continuing her commitment to improving the lives of others.
Andrea has been happily married to her husband, Ed, for 25 years. Ed, who is disabled, and Andrea share their home with their beloved 13-year-old black lab, Shadow, who never misses his daily car rides. In her spare time, she enjoys watching football and cheering for the Pittsburgh Panthers, Detroit Lions, and Michigan Wolverines.
